Graduate student Ioannis Gidaris wins CERRA Student Recognition Award by the International Civil Engineering Risk and Reliability Association

Graduate student Ioannis Gidaris will be awarded the CERRA Student Recognition Award by the International Civil Engineering Risk and Reliability Association. The award will be presented at the 12th International Conference on Applications of Statistics and Probability in Civil Engineering (ICASP12) held in Vancouver, Canada, July 12-15, 2015. It recognizes the overall contributions of Ioannis during his Ph.D studies as well as the paper he will be presenting in the conference, titled, “Design of Floor Isolation Systems Through Multi-objective Criteria for Seismic Risk Performance”. Co-authors of the paper are Dr. Taflanidis and Dr. Mavroeidis from the University of Notre Dame and Dr. Lopez-Garcia from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
