Graduate Student Patrick Conry received NDSEG Fellowship Award

On April 10, 2014, Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences graduate student Patrick Conry was selected as a recipient of a National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship. The NDSEG fellowship program is supported by the Department of Defense (DoD) and administered by the American Society for Engineering Education. Final selection of fellows is made by Army Research Office of Scientific Research. The nationally competitive fellowship awards NDSEG fellows full tuition and required fees, monthly stipends, and up to $1,000 medical insurance for a three-year duration. The fellowship is portable so fellows can use funding to attend any U.S. institution offering DoD supported disciplines. Patrick will continue as student in CEEES department advised by Professor Harindra Fernando in Environmental Fluid Dynamics group.
