Current Scholarships:

ACEC Indiana, Deadline February 1, 2018

ACEC Indiana has awarded $265,000 in scholarships to Hoosier college students who uphold the value of engineering for a better quality of life for future generations.ACEC Indiana has set a precedent to give no less than $1,500 to each winning student and no less than $5,000 for the top applicant. All of these scholarships are checks written directly to the student for his/ her personal use in school expenses. 2018 Scholarship ELIGIBILITY-- note students must be full-time residents of Indiana, therefore have a home and college address in Indiana

Indianapolis Chapter CSI Education Foundation, Deadline: March 16, 2018

The CSI Indianapolis Chapter Education Foundation Inc. is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for our 2018 Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship is directed at students pursuing design or construction-related degrees.

Saleh Stevens Scholarship, Deadline: November 30, 2018

Applicants simply have to write an essay answering a question and a winner is selected based on the essay. Saleh Stevens will select a winner and award them $1000 to put towards their education in November 2018. High school students that are graduating in 2018 and have already been accepted into a college, university, or trade school are eligible, as well as students currently enrolled in a university that have not reached their last year.

Construction Institute of ASCE's 2018 Student Days, Deadline: May 18, 2018

Over the summer, approximately 40 students will be selected to go to San Diego, California, to prepare a bid package with a team of students from around the country. You will have the opportunity to learn from industry experts, think outside the box technically and creatively, connect with students and professionals, and participate in numerous fun, extracurricular activities. 

NHERI REU Summer Research Experience for Undergraduates, Deadline: February 1, 2018

The NHERI REU Summer Program provides research opportunities at the ten NHERI multi-hazard engineering sites during a 10-week summer research program. The NHERI REU program is dedicated to helping undergraduate college students experience multi-hazard engineering as well as cyber infrastructure, data management, and simulation sites. Hands-on, research-based projects introduce participants to a network of engineers, scientists, and students working toward mitigating the effects of natural hazards.

U.S. citizens and permanent residents who are enrolled undergraduate students may apply for this summer program.

ASCE Innovation Contest, Deadline: March 1, 2018

The ASCE Innovation Contest was developed as a part of The ASCE Grand Challenge, and is a springboard for forward-looking infrastructure ideas. The contest is an avenue to transform our nation’s infrastructure and brings together your best ideas, projects, and theories for how to build a better future. Now in its third year, the ASCE Innovation Contest has a track record of reaching a worldwide audience, delivering value to all participants, and attracting industry attention. Be part of the movement and share your innovation.

All winners will present their ideas to and network with industry leaders at the Contest Celebration event in June 2018. Student winners will be offered first and/or second round interviews for internship opportunities as available. And a special note to undergraduate or graduate students, all student entries including college or university teams, ASCE Student Chapters, or an individual student entry, will be considered for the, "Best Student Innovation Award".
