Kijewski-Correa to Speak During TEDxUND 2018

Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering & Earth Sciences Professor Tracy Kijewski-Correa will take the stage during the TEDxUND 2018 event as part of IDEA Week.

Kijewski-Correa, the Leo E and Patti Ruth Linbeck Collegiate Chair and Associate Professor, will lead a Ted Talk titled, "Dare to Discover the Innovator Within." She will discuss the idea that innovation is not only reserved for experts but inherently within every person, no matter their birthplace, level of education, or social status.

The TEDxUND event will highlight the ideas and talents of community members and representatives from the University of Notre Dame. Each talk explores the idea "Dare to..." Presentations will be held in the Patricia George Decio Theatre at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 28.

Two live sessions will be held throughout the day. The first session will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and the second session will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event will also be available via Livestream on the TEDxUND website. The scheduled speakers and titles of their talks are as follows:

Session 1
