Seminar Speaker:

Dr. Kelsey Young

Kelsey Young’s research focuses on the development of handheld instrumentation for the exploration of Earth, the Moon, Mars, and asteroids. Her current research combines field work and planetary geologic studies in order to investigate NASA’s current and developing instrument and exploration technologies. She also has experience conducting field work in impact environments, both to evaluate exploration technologies and protocols and to investigate the Earth’s bombardment history through the radiometric dating of terrestrial impact structures.
