Luis Fargier-Gabaldón is the engineer of record of more than 1 million square feet of bridges and several building structures. He was the inaugural holder of the Massman-Beavers Heavy Civil Engineering Professorship at the University of Notre Dame.
Prof. Fargier-Gabaldon has worked extensively in academia and industry. He was a senior structural and bridge engineer at Kiewit. Academic appointments include, Edward Curtis Visiting Professor in Civil Engineering at Purdue University, faculty member at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at Universidad de los Andes. He actively provides consultant services for the construction industry.
